- The City of Thornton Arts and Culture Division is seeking an energetic and visionary individual with a track record in public art project management and community engagement to take the city’s public art program to the next level. Deadline Sept. 26.
- Creativity Alive seeks art or performances here to be considered for the “SEEN” art shows and performances to take place in Boulder, Colorado and online juried exhibits. They are now accepting submissions on a rolling basis for November 2023 to January 2024 exhibits and performances at the Sanctuary Art Gallery and OZO Coffee in February 2024. Submissions deadlines are: Oct. 27, 2023 and Jan. 12, 2024.
- Qualifications are requested from artists interested in creating public artworks for the Hellems Arts and Sciences Building at the University of Colorado in Boulder. The committee is looking for artworks that address one or more of the potential locations within the Hellems Arts and Sciences Building. Among the locations available for artwork are wall-mounted opportunities and one ceiling-hung location. Deadline Sept. 29.
- Rbhu Gives Back is open for application. 2023 Rbhu Gives Back grants offer up to $12,000 worth of free engineering services to artists in need. This can include structural or mechanical engineering services for any size artwork, which can include analysis, construction drawings, and permit documents, depending on the project’s needs. Deadline Oct. 16.
- The Dairy Arts Center opened its annual Call for Art Exhibitions. Artists of all visual art mediums may submit for consideration. Selected applicants will work with Curator of Visual Arts, Drew Austin, to develop and program exhibitions to be shown between Sept. 2024 – Aug. 2025.
- New charred-wood cabin studios are available in the House of Serein gardens.
- The 528.0 Regional Juried Printmaking Exhibition is open for application to artists residing within a 528.0 mile radius of Denver, Colorado. This exhibition seeks to celebrate the expansive diversity of contemporary printmaking found within this western region and aims to highlight both traditional and alternative printmaking methods being used in the field of contemporary printmaking. Deadline Oct. 2.
- Center for the Arts Evergreen Artist-in-Residence Program. Center for the Arts Evergreen’s (CAE’s) Artist-in-Residence Program offers the opportunity for emerging and established artists to foster creativity and community engagement while developing both new works and works-in-progress. All artist mediums are encouraged to apply. Residents will be provided housing, private studio space, and teaching and sales opportunities. Twelve-week residencies are offered three times each year. The application deadline for all 2024 residencies is Sept. 15.

EMERGENCY SUPPORT
- The National Coalition for Arts’ Preparedness & Emergency Response is a voluntary task force of national, regional, state and local arts organizations, and other agencies. They have the capacity and ability to respond effectively to disasters and emergencies affecting the arts and culture sector.
- CERF+ was started by artists for artists in the craft community as a grassroots mutual aid effort in 1985. It has since emerged as the leading nonprofit organization that uniquely focuses on safeguarding artists’ livelihoods nationwide. CERF+ serves artists who work in craft disciplines by providing a safety net to support strong and sustainable careers.
- The Colorado Artist Relief Fund supports artists experiencing economic distress.
